National Nurses Week a time to honor those who serve others

Nurses are one of the most integral parts of a medical team, fulfilling a critical role in providing patients and their families the highest level of care, as well as a key means of emotional support, significantly contributing to improved patient and family outcomes.

To honor these professionals, communities gather to celebrate National Nurses Week, which begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday.
